FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About the ValueHub Interactive Flat Panel

An IFPD (Interactive Flat Panel Display)—also known as an Interactive Display or Smart Display—is an all-in-one smart terminal that integrates multi-touch interaction, high-definition display, dual Android & Windows systems, cameras, and professional application software such as whiteboarding, wireless screen sharing, and industry-specific apps.

With its strengths in visual clarity, intuitive interaction, and flexible expansion, interactive flat panel display is widely used in education, corporate offices, government, and commercial environments.

From a system perspective, an interactive flat panel display consists of hardware and software working together:

Hardware includes the display panel, touch layer, power board, Android mainboard, frame, OPS PC, mounting brackets, stylus, and other components. The quality and performance of these parts directly determine stability and longevity.

Software includes the operating system (typically Android), whiteboard software, wireless casting tools, and app marketplace. Software usability, stability, and scalability are key to delivering a smooth experience across different scenarios.

An IFPD is made up of thousands of components and complex software systems. Differences in materials, technologies, and services naturally lead to large price gaps. These differences mainly come from hardware, software, and service.

  1. Hardware quality plays the biggest role.

Take the display panel as an example: panels are graded by brightness, uniformity, and pixel integrity. Reputable manufacturers use original A-grade panels, while low-cost products may use downgraded or even refurbished panels. Backlight technology (QLED > DLED), brightness (high brightness > low brightness), glass lamination (Optical Bonding>Zero Bonding), anti-glare glass treatment (Chemically etched > ordinary spray painting), and overall craftsmanship all significantly affect both cost and visual performance.

For example, the ValueHub ART Series interactive LED screen uses factory-certified A-grade panels with brightness up to 450 nits and uniformity of more than 85%, QLED backlight, Optical Bonding glass lamination, and anti-glare glass manufactured using chemical etching and coating processes—the cost is much higher than other brands’ interactive LED screen—resulting in superior clarity, smoother writing, and far better visual comfort than interactive LED screens from other brands.

Beyond the screen, factors such as touch response speed, power board stability, chipset performance, memory size, interface availability, frame materials, OPS configuration, and stylus quality all contribute to cost differences and long-term reliability.

2. Software capability is equally important. Operating systems (built-in Android OS), whiteboard software, wireless casting tools, and app ecosystems determine usability and stability, which is very important to deliver pleasant experience. ValueHub interactive LED screen adopts Eshare Pro, widely recognized for its stability, rich features, and no copyright disputes—offering superior compatibility and screen-sharing performance compared to generic solutions.

3. Service support is the third key factor.

Warranty length reflects a brand’s confidence in product quality. While some suppliers promise long warranties, reliable after-sales support and accountability are what truly matter when issues arise. However, most manufacturers only offer a one-year warranty.  While some manufacturers promise extended warranties, they often use various excuses to evade responsibility when quality problems actually arise. This is something you need to carefully consider when choosing a supplier.

Interactive Whiteboard is a standard whiteboard surface paired with an external projector and computer. The projectors need calibration and maintenance, complex setup and cable management, casting shadows. Interactive Flat Panel is an all-in-one, large-format LED touchscreen with an integrated operating system (like Android/Windows), standalone 4K touchscreen, touch function, speakers, camera, microphone, offering plug-and-play simplicity, higher resolution, and no ongoing lamp/filter costs.

Interactive whiteboards were among the first interactive educational devices launched when large-screen LED display technology was still immature and expensive.  Currently, this product is relatively uncommon in the market. Compared to each other, IFPDs offer advantages such as easier installation, clearer display, greater expandability, wider application range, and an overall better user experience, while IWBs have a cost advantage in extra-large sizes (>100 inches).

Over the past 15 years, interactive LED touch screen has evolved from basic touch displays into powerful, integrated collaboration hubs, perfectly aligned with digital transformation trends.

In education, interactive LED touch screen brings multimedia content (audio and video, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.) into classrooms, transforming traditional lessons into engaging, interactive experiences. Meanwhile, interactive courseware, high-quality teaching resources, and convenient toolkits specifically designed for educational settings fully stimulate students’ learning enthusiasm. Despite this, over 70% of classrooms worldwide are still not equipped with  interactive LED touch screens, leaving enormous growth potential.

In office and government environments, the demand for efficiency, paperless workflows, and hybrid collaboration continues to grow. interactive LED touch screen has become the central hub for meetings, brainstorming, presentations, and remote collaboration—yet penetration remains below 15% in many regions, indicating vast untapped opportunities.

When choosing an interactive flat panel, the key is not just the specifications — it’s whether the product truly fits your needs.
Different scenarios, budgets, and usage requirements call for different solutions, so we usually help our customers evaluate from a few critical perspectives.

First, choosing the right partner is even more important than choosing the product itself.
If visiting a factory in person isn’t possible, we recommend evaluating a supplier based on three aspects:
– How complete and professional their product documentation is
– Whether they can provide real, verifiable customer cases
– The level of professionalism and clarity in their communication

In today’s market, there are many small assembly-based manufacturers. These companies often have no dedicated R&D team or proprietary products — they simply source components and assemble them. As a result, their materials are usually incomplete, real customer cases are limited, and their products often look almost identical to others because they rely on public molds. These details can quickly reveal whether a company is truly professional and committed to long-term product development.

Second, product comparison should never rely on spec sheets alone.
Specifications don’t fully reflect product quality or real-world user experience.
We recommend looking deeper — at component choices, internal structure, and build details. In most cases, products with refined details deliver better stability and reliability over time.

If possible, we also encourage side-by-side sample testing. Only through direct comparison in the same environment can real differences become clear.

Third, after-sales service deserves close attention.
It’s important to understand warranty terms, service response procedures, technical support coverage, and troubleshooting processes.
An IFP is a long-term investment, and a well-structured service system can save significant time and hidden costs in the future.

Finally, it’s about finding the right balance between configuration and budget.
Different configurations come at different price points. Our suggestion is to first identify the configuration that truly matches your usage needs, then evaluate the overall solution — including product quality, performance, service, and price — rather than focusing on price alone.

By following these steps, most risks can be avoided, and it becomes much easier to choose an IFP solution that delivers long-term value and satisfaction.

ValueHub Interactive Display runs Android with Google Play built-in, allowing users to install a wide range of applications. With an optional OPS PC running Windows 11 Pro, you can also install apps from the Microsoft Store or third-party sources. In short, ValueHub Interactive Display supports almost all Android and Windows applications, offering unlimited flexibility.

ValueKnob is ValueSTek’s proprietary interaction innovation, exclusively developed for the ValueHub ART Series interactive flat panels.

Designed to dramatically improve interaction efficiency, ValueKnob rethinks how users operate an IFPD. Instead of navigating through multiple on-screen menus, commonly used functions and application shortcuts are intelligently integrated into a single, precision-engineered mechanical control knob. With a clear, tactile mechanical feel, ValueKnob allows users to operate the knob and the touchscreen simultaneously—enabling faster access, smoother control, and more intuitive interaction.

ValueView is ValueSTek’s proprietary camera design philosophy, created to deliver a more natural and human-centered video communication experience.

In most interactive flat panels on the market, the camera is simply mounted on the top of the screen. While easy to implement, this design results in an unnatural, downward-looking angle during video meetings—often creating an awkward, detached viewing experience.

ValueSTek reimagined this convention. With ValueView, the camera is positioned on the side of the display at eye level, closely matching natural human sightlines. To further enhance spatial coverage, the lens is subtly angled inward, ensuring a wider and more balanced field of view.

This thoughtful design allows the captured image to feel as if participants are seeing each other face to face—restoring natural eye contact, improving engagement, and creating a more immersive meeting experience.

ValueView is a patented technology, officially recognized for its originality and practical innovation, reinforcing ValueSTek’s commitment to meaningful, experience-driven design.

ValueHub Interactive Screens support two standard installation options, allowing you to choose the setup that best fits your space and usage scenario.

Wall-Mounted Installation

Every ValueHub interactive screen is supplied with a dedicated wall-mount kit.

  • Step 1:  Securely fixing the wall bracket’s back plate to a solid wall using screws.
  • Step 2: The bracket is adjusted to the appropriate height and attached to the rear of the interactive screen.
  • Step 3: The panel is then hung onto the wall plate, connected to power, network, and other required cables, and finally secured in place with screws for stability.

Mobile Stand Installation

For flexible and movable setups, ValueHub interactive screens can also be installed on a mobile stand.

  • Step 1: Assemble the mobile stand according to the installation manual. It is important to complete the full assembly before tightening all screws to ensure proper alignment.
  • Step 2: Attach the interactive screen mounting bracket to the back of the display at the desired height.
  • Step 3: Once secured, the interactive screen can be safely mounted onto the mobile stand, ready for use.

Typically, the installation height of an IFPD (Interactive Flat Panel Display) is 0.8-1 meter from the bottom of the device to the ground, but this can be adjusted appropriately based on the user’s height and specific application requirements.

Both installation methods are designed for safety, stability, and ease of setup—making ValueHub interactive screens adaptable to classrooms, meeting rooms, and collaborative spaces of all sizes.

ValueHub interactive touch monitors  work with virtually every major video conferencing platform—from global favorites like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and GoToMeeting, to China’s top solutions like Tencent Meeting, DingTalk, and Feishu.

No matter the scenario—individual, corporate, or multinational—ValueHub interactive touch monitor ensures smooth, high-quality collaboration. Full features, easy setup, and cross-border compatibility mean your meetings just work, every time.

Research on face-to-face communication shows that spoken words account for only 7% of information, while tone and volume make up 38%, and body language and facial expressions account for 55%. This is why ValueSTek considers sound quality a critical metric for interactive flat panels.

To achieve the highest audio fidelity, ValueHub is equipped with professional-grade three-channel speakers. Each speaker handles different frequency ranges, faithfully reproducing tonal nuances, volume dynamics, and even the emotional richness of sound.

Recognizing that classrooms and meeting rooms have unique acoustics, ValueHub employs both top-mounted and side-surround speaker layouts for optimal audio performance in any setting. With 2.1 channels and 60W output, ValueHub delivers immersive, crystal-clear sound, making it one of the best audio-performing interactive flat panels in the industry.

Display quality depends on many factors, including LED panel grade, backlight technology, glass surface treatment, optical bonding, and motherboard calibration.

ValueHub ART interactive smart board selects screens strictly to A-grade standards, ensuring that no panel with flaws reaches the market. It features QLED backlight technology, dramatically boosting color saturation for vivid, lifelike visuals. Enhanced backlight brightness and multiple diffusion layers make images appear crystal-clear and vibrant.

The panel uses chemically-etched tempered glass with anti-glare coating, providing a natural, glare-free view while delivering an ultra-smooth writing experience. Full optical bonding joins the glass and LED panel seamlessly, increasing clarity and brightness while minimizing visual distortion.

Every ValueHub ART unit undergoes individual color calibration, and the motherboard is finely tuned to match each screen’s characteristics, ensuring the optimal visual performance.

Together, these innovations make ValueHub ART interactive smart board’s display quality among the very best in the interactive smart board industry.

The IFPD market features a wide range of brands, which can generally be categorized as follows:
