    An IFPD (Interactive Flat Panel Display)—also known as an Interactive Display or Smart Display—is an all-in-one smart terminal that integrates multi-touch interaction, high-definition display, dual Android & Windows systems, cameras, and professional application software such as whiteboarding, wireless screen sharing, and industry-specific apps.

    With its strengths in visual clarity, intuitive interaction, and flexible expansion, interactive flat panel display is widely used in education, corporate offices, government, and commercial environments.

    From a system perspective, an interactive flat panel display consists of hardware and software working together:

    Hardware includes the display panel, touch layer, power board, Android mainboard, frame, OPS PC, mounting brackets, stylus, and other components. The quality and performance of these parts directly determine stability and longevity.

    Software includes the operating system (typically Android), whiteboard software, wireless casting tools, and app marketplace. Software usability, stability, and scalability are key to delivering a smooth experience across different scenarios.

    An IFPD is made up of thousands of components and complex software systems. Differences in materials, technologies, and services naturally lead to large price gaps. These differences mainly come from hardware, software, and service.

    1. Hardware quality plays the biggest role.

    Take the display panel as an example: panels are graded by brightness, uniformity, and pixel integrity. Reputable manufacturers use original A-grade panels, while low-cost products may use downgraded or even refurbished panels. Backlight technology (QLED > DLED), brightness (high brightness > low brightness), glass lamination (Optical Bonding>Zero Bonding), anti-glare glass treatment (Chemically etched > ordinary spray painting), and overall craftsmanship all significantly affect both cost and visual performance.

    For example, the ValueHub ART Series interactive LED screen uses factory-certified A-grade panels with brightness up to 450 nits and uniformity of more than 85%, QLED backlight, Optical Bonding glass lamination, and anti-glare glass manufactured using chemical etching and coating processes—the cost is much higher than other brands’ interactive LED screen—resulting in superior clarity, smoother writing, and far better visual comfort than interactive LED screens from other brands.

    Beyond the screen, factors such as touch response speed, power board stability, chipset performance, memory size, interface availability, frame materials, OPS configuration, and stylus quality all contribute to cost differences and long-term reliability.

    2. Software capability is equally important. Operating systems (built-in Android OS), whiteboard software, wireless casting tools, and app ecosystems determine usability and stability, which is very important to deliver pleasant experience. As a result, their materials are usually incomplete, real customer cases are limited, and their products often look almost identical to others because they rely on public molds. These details can quickly reveal whether a company is truly professional and committed to long-term product development.

    Second, product comparison should never rely on spec sheets alone.
    Specifications don’t fully reflect product quality or real-world user experience.
    We recommend looking deeper — at component choices, internal structure, and build details. In most cases, products with refined details deliver better stability and reliability over time.

    If possible, we also encourage side-by-side sample testing. Only through direct comparison in the same environment can real differences become clear.

    Third, after-sales service deserves close attention.
    It’s important to understand warranty terms, service response procedures, technical support coverage, and troubleshooting processes.
    An IFP is a long-term investment, and a well-structured service system can save significant time and hidden costs in the future.

    Finally, it’s about finding the right balance between configuration and budget.
    Different configurations come at different price points. Our suggestion is to first identify the configuration that truly matches your usage needs, then evaluate the overall solution — including product quality, performance, service, and price — rather than focusing on price alone.

    By following these steps, most risks can be avoided, and it becomes much easier to choose an IFP solution that delivers long-term value and satisfaction.

    In most interactive flat panels on the market, the camera is simply mounted on the top of the screen. While easy to implement, this design results in an unnatural, downward-looking angle during video meetings—often creating an awkward, detached viewing experience.

    Wall-Mounted Installation

    Every ValueHub interactive screen is supplied with a dedicated wall-mount kit.

    • Step 1:  Securely fixing the wall bracket’s back plate to a solid wall using screws.
    • Step 2: The bracket is adjusted to the appropriate height and attached to the rear of the interactive screen.
    • Step 3: The panel is then hung onto the wall plate, connected to power, network, and other required cables, and finally secured in place with screws for stability.

    Mobile Stand Installation

    For flexible and movable setups, ValueHub interactive screens can also be installed on a mobile stand.

    • Step 1: Assemble the mobile stand according to the installation manual. It is important to complete the full assembly before tightening all screws to ensure proper alignment.
    • Step 2: Attach the interactive screen mounting bracket to the back of the display at the desired height.
    • Step 3: Once secured, the interactive screen can be safely mounted onto the mobile stand, ready for use.

    Typically, the installation height of an IFPD (Interactive Flat Panel Display) is 0.8-1 meter from the bottom of the device to the ground, but this can be adjusted appropriately based on the user’s height and specific application requirements.
