The ValueSTek team provides professional training services to clients.

On September 7–8, the ValueSTek team visited a client in Abuja, Nigeria, that operates four schools—comprising a primary school, a secondary school, a college, and an international school. Over the past three years, the group has progressed from having no such technology to fully equipping every classroom with ValueSTek’s Z-series IFPDs.

During the two-day visit, our team observed how the schools utilize IFPDs for instruction and discussed with teachers how the technology can enhance teaching quality. We also conducted comprehensive product training for the teaching staff and IT technical teams. After the training session, the school’s IT manager posted the following on social media:

“Deploying technology is one thing; enabling people to fully realize its potential is quite another.

Yesterday, IT managers from across the group’s schools—including primary and secondary schools, colleges, and the Abuja campus—gathered at the secondary school in the Mabushi district of Abuja, Nigeria, for a hands-on training session on IFPDs (Interactive Flat Panel Displays).
Led by Michelle and Mia from the relevant organization, the training aimed to equip teachers with the knowledge and confidence needed to maximize the use of IFPD equipment in the classroom.

In my view, this type of training is crucial because deploying technology in schools does not mark the end of a project.
Even if every classroom is equipped with state-of-the-art interactive displays, we are merely scratching the surface of the technology’s true potential if teachers feel uncomfortable using its various features.

This training gave us the opportunity to explore the practical capabilities of IFPDs and learn how to better integrate them into the teaching process.
It also served as an excellent platform for IT managers from different schools to interact, share experiences, ask questions, and discuss how to collectively support teachers in effectively utilizing the technology.
